ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our AGM will be held on Monday 6th July 2026 at 7pm, on-line via Microsoft Teams. To attend the meeting please email Joan Grant-Reid at development@farrnorth.org.uk and you will be sent a link to the meeting.

If you cannot attend

If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete and return the voting by proxy form enclosed.  Your proxy vote will ensure that the meeting is quorate and able to complete the business required.

Election of Directors

The Board of Directors is the managing committee of Farr North Community Development Trust.

In line with best practice, the charity is required to regularly refresh the Board of Directors, which is done by limiting the number of times a director may stand for office to three and requiring two directors to stand down at each AGM.  For the Trust to be able to continue to operate we need new people to seek nomination to the Board.

Duties of Directors

The Directors form a Board of Trustees who are responsible for the strategic development of the charity, governance and financial matters.

The Board meets monthly, usually in an evening between 7 and 9 pm.  In addition, Directors are needed, as their time permits to get involved in helping to deliver on projects, particularly in ensuring good communications with the Board and the team running the project.

To seek nomination please complete and return the “Nomination of Directors” form below attached.  The form requires your nomination to be supported by two other members, but if you have trouble knowing who to approach for this please get in touch, or send the form in without these supporting signatories and we will arrange it.
